FAQ

Do face coverings and face masks work?

Current information suggests that the two main routes of transmission of the COVID-19 virus are respiratory droplets and close contact.

Type IIR masks are splash resistant and prevent both the wearer and other people from large droplets or hazardous sprays. With a three-ply construction and a bacterial infiltration efficiency of 98%, these Type IIR masks are a great option to help stop the spread of viruses and harmful bacteria.

WHO-certified for use in close clinical environments, these Type IIR masks have been made to the very highest standards providing real confidence and reassurance to the user.

How often should you use a face covering?

In line with government guidance, facemasks should be worn in most indoor settings and when keeping the recommended 2 metre distance is not possible.

A damp mask is less effective and should be changed as soon as the mask becomes moist. Dispose of the used mask safely and wash your hands after removing the mask.
