Stepping into the world of vape can be daunting at first – there is a wealth of information available, as well as plenty of different devices, e-liquid flavours, e-liquid formulations, and accessories. As there is no one-size-fits all in the vaping world, there can be an element of trial and error involved in finding the right vaping style and products for you.
When it comes to finding the best e-liquid and vape juice flavours in the UK, however, Dinner Lady’s range is unrivalled. From the best e-cig liquid to the best concentrates, Dinner Lady’s range of flavours and formulations are multi-award-winning.
Comprised of just four components: propylene glycol (PG), vegetable glycerin (VG), food-grade flavourings and nicotine, e-liquids are designed with flavour and vapour in mind.
While VG is a thick and syrupy liquid producing vapour, PG is of a lower viscosity and is a great medium for carrying flavour compounds. PG is the component to thank for your favourite flavoured e-liquids and VG is the component responsible for impressive clouds of vapour.
There is no one-size-fits all when it comes to e-liquids. In fact, the best e-liquid ratio varies depending on vape kit type and personal vaping preference. With this in mind, Dinner Lady created six different e-liquid formulations to choose from in over 150 different flavours to cater for all vaping styles and devices.
To help you find the perfect flavour and formulation, Dinner Lady are on hand with a comprehensive guide to finding the best e-cigarette liquid to suit your vaping habits.
Widely considered the best e-liquids in the UK due to their versatility, 50:50s combine even measures of PG and VG for a balanced production of flavour, throat hit and cloud-like vapour.
50:50s are compatible with a wide range of devices and coils but are best suited to higher resistance coils (1.0ohm and above with mouth to lung (MTL) capabilities). Available in 37 different flavours across six flavour ranges and four different nicotine strengths, 50:50s are a great starter liquid to help vapers gradually reduce nicotine intake. It should come as no surprise then, that 50:50s are one of the best Dinner Lady e-liquids and are popular with new and experienced vapers alike.
Like Nicotine Salts, 50:50s contain an even blend of PG and VG for a great balance of flavour and vapour. Unlike Nic Salts, however, 50:50s contain freebase nicotine which is less harsh on the throat than salt nicotine. Freebase nicotine is thought to be the purest form of nicotine and is made by adding ammonia to nicotine to increase its bioavailability.
A “next generation” e-liquid, Nicotine Salts consist of nicotine from naturally occurring salt that is found within tobacco leaves. It typically produces higher strengths of nicotine than other e-liquid formulations without being too harsh on the throat. It is also more easily absorbed into the bloodstream than e-liquids containing freebase nicotine.
Available in a selection of different flavours across the Desserts, Sweets, Fruits, Ice, Menthol and Tobacco ranges, Nicotine Salts are available in nicotine strengths of 20mg and 10mg. The two strengths allow vapers to gradually decrease their nicotine intake overtime to become completely smoke, vape and nicotine-free.
Like 50:50s, “30:70 e-liquids” refers to the balance of key components within an e-liquid. 30:70s contain a high VG content and produce dense clouds. Sometimes referred to as cloud-chasing juice or sub-ohm e-liquids, Dinner Lady’s 30:70s produce impressive vapour and flavour.
The high VG content makes 30:70s best suited to vape kits that are compatible with lower resistance coils (1.0ohm and below) for a direct to lung (DTL) vape with impressive vapour production. As the dense clouds tend to be milder, sweeter and smoother than e-liquids with a higher PG content, 30:70s produce a less intense throat hit and are thought to be the best vape e-juice for vapers wishing to vape all day.
Like 30:70s, Shortfills contain a high VG content that is great for sub ohm vaping. Unlike 30:70s, Shortfills do not contain any nicotine. This means that Shortfills are available to buy in much larger bottles while complying to TPD regulations in both the UK and EU vape markets.
Dinner Lady’s Shortfills contain 50ml of e-liquid within a 60ml bottle, thus allowing space to add a 10ml 18mg nicotine shot for a quick and convenient “shake n vape” that contains 3mg nicotine. As Shortfills contain much more e-liquid than any other formulation, Shortfills can last much longer and serve as a cost-effective alternative to 10ml bottles. They also allow much more control over your vaping habits by allowing you to vape with or without nicotine and adjust the nicotine strength.
Consisting entirely of PG, Concentrates are exactly what it says on the tin: e-liquids with a high flavour concentration for the best possible taste. Concentrates are a great starting point for vapers who like to fine-tune their vaping experience by mixing e-liquids to create a DIY flavour combination with an adjustable amount of vapour and nicotine.
With over 10 unique Dinner Lady flavours to choose from, it is unsurprising that Dinner Lady’s range of premium e-liquids are considered to be amongst the best e-liquid concentrates in the UK vape market.
From Desserts to Sweets, Menthol to Tobacco and Ice to Fruits, finding the best e-liquid flavours can be a time-consuming task and, in some cases, one of trial and error. With the right information, however, vapers can find the best e-cig liquid flavour in no time at all.
Launching in 2016 with a handful of dessert flavoured e-liquids, including the multi-award-winning Lemon Tart flavour, Dinner Lady’s range of vape products has expanded to include hundreds of fantastic flavours across six different flavour ranges.

Just because vape e-liquids are superheated into tasty clouds of flavour-filled vapour doesn’t mean vapers should lose their cool. Formerly known as the Summer Holidays range, Dinner Lady’s Ice range incorporates koolada to activate the same receptors as menthol without the love-or-hate minty flavour.
Blending classic fruit flavours with an ice cool exhale, the Ice range is popular with Ice and Menthol vaping fans alike. Presenting the best orange vape juice – Black Orange Crush – along with Lemon Sherbet Ice, Bubble Trouble ice, Apple Sours Ice, Mango Ice, Watermelon Slices Ice and Sweet Fusion Ice, the Ice range has something for vapers of all flavour preferences.
Replicating the cool and minty taste associated with menthol cigarettes, menthol e-liquids are a great option for former menthol cigarette smokers.
Dinner Lady’s Menthol range includes Blue Menthol, Cherry Menthol, Fresh Menthol, Ice Menthol and Spearmint, all of which combine fruity notes with ice cool menthol for a fresh vape. Providing a similar cool vape to that of the Ice range, Menthol incorporates the best of Ice and Menthol e-liquid flavours.
Popular with former smokers, Dinner Lady’s Tobacco range contains some of the best tobacco e-liquids in the UK. With four flavours – Smooth Tobacco, Caramel Tobacco, Mint Tobacco and Café Tobacco, each flavour aims to provide a familiar cigarette-like flavour to help break the habit and gradually lower nicotine intake.
Smooth Tobacco: combines woody and sweet flavours.
Caramel Tobacco: the best caramel e-liquid containing a blend of caramel, vanilla and honey.
Café Tobacco: the best coffee flavour e-liquid containing a blend of tobacco and coffee.
Mint Tobacco: light tobacco flavours with an icy menthol exhale.
Still searching for the best e-liquid and e-cig juice? Check out what our customers say in the following Dinner Lady e-liquid brand reviews:
Dinner Lady are one of the most popular UK e-liquid brands and for good reason. Many vapers know the brand due to their Lemon Tart flavour (which is excellent) but they have expanded the range in recent years to cover all bases from fruit to tobacco’s.
Not only that but they produce all flavours in a choice of 50PG/50VG, nic salt, shortfill (70VG) concentrates for the DIY enthusiasts. So no matter what type of vape device you use or what level of experience you have Dinner Lady have you covered.
We have recently reviewed most of the flavours on offer and across the board they offer quality. Even their tobacco and menthol flavours scored high across the board.
It’s clear to me that Vape Dinner Lady are still at the top of their game. Their mixologists have really hit these flavour profiles bang on the money and I am very excited to see what they come up with next.
I am curious how many crumbles and tarts are ate while comparing?
Their pastry/tart flavours bring me right back to the Sunday dinners of old with the hot crumble dessert. Is it any wonder that they find themselves continuously being nominated for awards including our very own Ecigclick awards which is one of the biggest that is actually voted by vapers.
Without doubt my favourite from this review was the Berry Tart, full marks for this one.
Damn, Dinner Lady. All of these flavors were absolutely delicious, and there’s very little bad I can say about them. What I really like about the range is that they’re subtle and taste like the real thing. I’d add that I usually pass on retro desserts. So it’s true, vaping really can expand your palette.
Ok, so I’ve been completely won over. I stand by what I said at the top of this review; I wasn’t entirely enthused by all of the previous Dinner Lady line. They were good e-liquids, I just didn’t rate them as highly as the rest of the team. However, this for me is true English dessert e-liquids at their best…..and I agree, they now deserve their place at the top of our list.
Also, it’s clear why they have called the line ‘Aroma,’ as soon as you open the bottles it’s as if you’re transported back to your Granny’s kitchen with the pleasant smell of baked lusciousness.
If my old school dinner ladies ever made desserts that tasted this good, I’m sure I’d be about 3 stone heavier! They are an impressive collection of bakery e-liquids, and it seems Dinner Lady have upped their game to dominate this category.
